Bhubaneswar, June 26 -- The Sambalpur District Collector directed the Jamankira Tehsildar to unseal the house of a specially-abled man on Friday in Jamankira in Odisha's Sambalpur district after it was sealed by a bank over an alleged loan default.

The district administration also sought all loan-related documents from the bank and said further action will be taken after verifying the facts and records.

The direction comes after the family's plight drew attention, with the divyang man and his family allegedly forced to live outside their house for the past 20 days after the property was sealed on June 5.
