Bhubaneswar, April 26 -- A delivery agent alleged that he was assaulted while attempting to deliver an order in Bhubaneswar, after the customer reportedly failed to receive the delivery despite repeated calls. The incident was reported at Maitri Vihar police station.

According to the complaint filed by Bhagirathi Ghadei, the incident took place on April 24, in the Gajapati Nagar area. A person identified as Deb had placed an order at around 12 am. The delivery agent stated that he reached the location within 15 minutes to complete the delivery.

However, despite making phone calls upon arrival, the customer did not respond or come down to collect the order. The delivery agent subsequently informed the company about the situation.
