Bhubaneswar, April 5 -- A Danda Nacha programme in Odisha's Berhampur was disrupted on Saturday night after a section of locals created a ruckus over the non-performance of a recorded dance. This forced organisers to halt the event midway.

The incident occurred in the Hill Patna area, where a traditional Danda Nacha event was being organised, with a social drama being staged as part of the programme.

According to reports, some youths demanded that a record dance performance be included in the event. However, organisers informed them that such performances could not be held due to restrictions imposed by the district administration.
