Rs 2 crore worth 'ganja' seized from ambulance in Odisha's Malkangiri; two arrested
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 13 -- An ambulance, typically associated with emergency medical services, was allegedly being used for an entirely different purpose in Odisha's Malkangiri district. Kalimela police have reportedly arrested two persons for allegedly transporting a large quantity of ganja in an ambulance using an unusual method to evade detection.
According to police, the two accused, reportedly from Maharashtra, had allegedly loaded ganja into the ambulance from the Sudakunda forest area under Kalimela police limits. They were reportedly transporting the contraband to another state when police intercepted the vehicle during a checking operation.
