Bhubaneswar, May 14 -- Fifteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been rewarded for his scintillating form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 with a maiden call-up to the India A squad for the upcoming tri-series against Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A. The youngster, now in his second IPL season, has amassed 440 runs in 11 matches, showcasing maturity, power, and consistency far beyond his years.

Vaibhav will join a 15-member squad led by captain Tilak Varma, with Riyan Parag named vice-captain.
