Bhubaneswar, Sept. 6 -- A woman Home Guard in Rourkela has drawn attention for performing CPR on a young man who was lying on the road after a fatal road accident. Home Guard Anjana Majhi reached the spot soon after the accident and began CPR after finding that the biker was not breathing.

Majhi continued the procedure for around 10 to 15 minutes until the ambulance arrived and she noticed a slight response from the young man.

Anjana Majhi, who is currently posted at Chhend Police Station PCR, said she and her team were near Space Chhak when they received information about the accident.
