Bhubaneswar, March 13 -- Allegations of recruitment irregularities have surfaced at the Maradugochha Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) in Odisha's Sonepur district, prompting the administration to launch an inquiry. The allegations relate to appointments made at the cooperative society, with complaints claiming that the recruitment process was irregular.
Sonepur District Collector Nruparaj Sahu visited the PACS following complaints from villagers and conducted an on-site inquiry into the matter.
According to the allegations, the son of the former PACS secretary was appointed as secretary, the secretary's son-in-law was appointed as assistant secretary, and the son of a former peon was appointed as peon.
