Bhubaneswar, Feb. 7 -- What began as reckless fun proved costly for a group of youths after they were found performing dangerous car stunts on a public road in Sambalpur district. Burla police seized two vehicles and detained the drivers along with their associates for endangering public safety.

According to police sources, the youths were driving in a highly dangerous manner on the South Dyke road of the Hirakud Dam. In blatant violation of traffic norms, some of them were seen sitting on the roofs of moving cars, while others struck film-style poses during the stunts. Visuals also showed a few youths smoking cigarettes while the vehicles were in motion.
