Bhubaneswar, Feb. 17 -- In a shocking incident highlighting alleged negligence by school authorities, as many as five students have been barred from appearing in the CBSE Class X examination in Odisha's Rayagada district.

The incident has been reported from Smart Public School located in Kashinagar, where allegations of mismanagement and irregularities have surfaced against the school authorities.

As per reports, a student along with parents met the District Collector and submitted a formal complaint regarding the matter. Taking serious note of the allegations, the District Collector has ordered an inquiry into the issue.
