Former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who returned to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the IPL 2025 season after a long gap, has informed the franchise of his intention to part ways. The 38-year-old, bought for Rs 9.75 crore in the mega auction, endured a disappointing campaign, picking up only seven wickets in nine matches and struggling particularly in the powerplay overs.
