Bhubaneswar, June 19 -- Technical teams have been deployed to repair surface cracks that have developed in specific upper sections of the Rath Yatra chariots, even as the overall construction work continues to progress steadily.

Fissures have appeared in the Chari Nahaka section of the Darpadalana Rath, as well as the Kanaguja sections and Singha Birala carvings across all three chariots. Clamp fitting work is being carried out on Friday to address the issues and reinforce the wooden structures.
