Bhubaneswar, May 16 -- Preparations for Rath Yatra 2026 are gaining momentum as the construction of the sibling deities' chariots enters its final stages. The Rathkhala remains abuzz with activity, with artisans working tirelessly to craft the majestic chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra.

Out of the total 42 wheels required for the three chariots, 32 have already been completed, marking a major milestone in this year's preparations. Work on several other key components is also progressing rapidly, with special attention being given to the 14 Nahaka Chaupata platforms, each being crafted with meticulous precision.
