Bhubaneswar, March 14 -- With the Rajya Sabha elections approaching, developments within the Congress have drawn attention after the party said it has been unable to contact Mohana MLA Dasarathi Gamang.
Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Rama Chandra Kadam said the legislator has not been responding to phone calls, even as party leaders continue efforts to reach him ahead of the crucial vote.
Despite the lack of communication, the party leadership has expressed confidence that Gamang will vote in favour of the Congress candidate.
Kadam said both the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) leadership and leaders of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) are trying to get in touch with Gamang.
