Bhubaneswar, July 13 -- Devotees participating in this year's Rath Yatra may have to contend with wet weather, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall across Odisha beginning Monday.

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, the rainy spell is expected to continue across the state until July 17.

The weather department has issued a yellow warning for 20 districts for Monday, cautioning about heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in several parts of the state.

Among the districts likely to receive heavy rainfall are Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Kandhamal, Kalahandi and Rayagada.
