Rain to drench Durga Puja in Odisha! Low pressure likely around October 13
Bhubaneswar, Oct. 2 -- Odisha is likely to witness increased rainfall around Dussehra as another low-pressure system is likely to develop over the Bay of Bengal. A cyclonic circulation is expected to form over the North Andaman Sea around October 12, followed by a low-pressure area on October 13.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the system may intensify into a depression over the South Bay of Bengal or adjoining central Bay by October 15. Reports suggest that it could move towards the southern Odisha and Andhra Pradesh coasts, although no forecast has been made on whether it will intensify further.
