India, Sept. 30 -- The Regional Meteorological Centre has predicted widespread rainfall across Odisha during the Dussehra celebrations, with a low-pressure area expected to form over the Bay of Bengal on Wednesday.

A cyclonic circulation is likely to develop over the Andaman Sea on Tuesday. Under its influence, a low-pressure system is expected to form over the north and adjoining central Bay of Bengal by tomorrow. Under its influence, moderate to heavy rain is expected across northern, coastal, and southern Odisha, while interior southern districts may experience very heavy rainfall.
