Bhubaneswar, Sept. 20 -- A family was left without shelter after the walls of their old house collapsed amid incessant rain in Odisha's Ganjam on Saturday night. The incident took place in Bikrampur village under Khallikote block, where two rooms of the house were damaged.

The house belonged to Debaraj Jena of Koili Bari Sahi. He and his wife and he sustained minor injuries after the walls suddenly collapsed. Meanwhile, four other family members who were inside the house narrowly escaped.

Following the incident, the entire family has been left without a proper shelter. With more low-pressure-induced rain expected in the coming days, the family is worried about how they will manage the situation.
