Bhubaneswar, Aug. 8 -- What appeared to be an ordinary milk vehicle travelling towards Bhubaneswar turned out to be carrying something entirely different. Acting on a tip-off, the Excise Department intercepted a milk van being used to transport a huge quantity of country liquor on Saturday.

According to reports, the vehicle was reportedly travelling from Athagarh towards Bhubaneswar when the Excise Department launched a raid based on secret information.

1,080 Litres Of Country Liquor Seized

During the inspection, officials discovered a large quantity of country liquor inside the milk van. The Excise Department seized a total of 1,080 litres of country liquor from the vehicle.
