Bhubaneswar, June 9 -- Heavy rain in Puri on Monday led to waterlogging inside the Baba Lokanath Temple premises. Knee-deep water reportedly entered parts of the shrine and caused inconvenience for temple staff and devotees.

Visuals circulating on social media showed water accumulated inside the temple complex, while large sections of the premises were also without electricity.

The power outage further worsened the situation, as devotees struggled to move through the waterlogged areas in darkness.
