Public darshan of Lord Jagannath will be restricted for five hours in Puri Srimandir for the observance of the Bamana Janma Niti on Thursday. The darshan will remain closed from 5 pm to 10 pm. On the Bhadraba Shukla Dwadashi tithi, the Bamana Janma Niti is observed.
For this occasion, the Lord's special rituals begin from the morning. Rituals such as Mangala Alati, Mailama, Tadapa Lagi, Gopala Ballabha, and others were in their final stages at the time of reporting.
