Bhubaneswar, June 25 -- A prolonged power outage at the Sahadevkhunta Bus Stand in Odisha's Balasore district left passengers stranded in darkness on Wednesday.

The incident occured on Wednesday night when the bus stand reportedly remained without electricity. Passengers waiting for buses were forced to endure uncomfortable conditions with no lights and fans functioning, while many expressed fear due to the lack of visibility in and around the premises.

According to reports, the entire bus stand witnessed complete darkness as the power supply remained disconnected. Passengers even struggled for minimal lighting while waiting for their journeys.
