Bhubaneswar, June 28 -- Patients and attendants at the Super Speciality Block of Berhampur MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Ganjam district have raised serious concerns over poor maintenance, alleging that deteriorating infrastructure and unhygienic conditions are affecting the quality of healthcare services in the renowned medical institution.

The five-storey facility, constructed at a cost of over Rs 150 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), was built to provide advanced medical care with departments such as Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology and plastic surgery.
