Bhubaneswar, March 13 -- Two police personnel were injured after liquor traders allegedly attacked them during a raid on the illicit liquor trade at Balitota village under the Patna police station limits in Odisha's Keonjhar district on Thursday evening.
The injured personnel have been identified as Saharapada outpost officer Partha Oram and woman constable Hemalata Naik. Both were rescued and admitted to Patna hospital for treatment.
According to police sources, a team from the Saharapada outpost conducted a raid in Balitota village after receiving information about the illegal sale of liquor in the area.
