Bhubaneswar, March 2 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) to assess the rapidly evolving situation in West Asia following the US-Israeli strikes on Iran and the subsequent regional escalation. The CCS reviewed the February 28 air strikes in Iran, attacks in multiple Gulf countries, and their implications for India's large expatriate community. According to a statement from the Press Information Bureau (PIB), the panel expressed serious concern for the safety and security of millions of Indian nationals living and working across the region.
