Starting in November this year, the Odisha government will roll out the distribution of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), Rural Development Minister Rabi Narayan Naik said on Monday.
Eligible beneficiaries in the State will receive houses in phases, including vulnerable groups like the separated and differently-abled.
However, pucca houses will also be distributed in September under the Antyodaya Yojana in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday celebrations. The beneficiaries identified under this scheme will receive houses as part of the larger PMAY initiative.
