Pinaka long range guided rocket successfully test-fired by DRDO from Odisha's Chandipur
Bhubaneswar, July 8 -- India has achieved another significant milestone in strengthening its indigenous defence capabilities. The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Wednesday successfully conducted the flight-test of the Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket (LRGR) at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, Odisha.
The advanced rocket system was tested for a user-defined minimum range of 60 kilometres, marking an important step in the development of long-range guided rocket technology.
