Bhubaneswar, Feb. 7 -- An unusual incident created momentary panic in the bullion market of Degana town in Rajasthan's Nagaur district on Thursday, when a pigeon flew away with a gold chain worth around Rs 1 lakh from a jewellery shop.

According to traders, the incident occurred at a jewellery establishment in the Degana bullion market, where craftsmen were working on gold ornaments on the upper floor of the shop. The pigeon reportedly entered the premises unexpectedly and, within seconds, picked up a newly crafted gold chain in its beak before flying off.
