Bhubaneswar, July 5 -- The Panchasakha Shikhya Setu organisation approved 609 school development infrastructure projects worth Rs 7,29,77,000 across 23 districts of Odisha. The decision was finalised during the organisation's fourth Executive Council meeting on Saturday.

As per reports, this was supported by financial contributions from more than 4,500 alumni, intellectuals, and civic institutions.

The high-level meeting was chaired by N. Thirumala Naik, Council Chairman and Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Odisha School and Mass Education Department. Emphasising the critical role of community stakeholders, Naik highlighted the importance of systematically involving alumni networks to elevate school standards across the state.
