Bhubaneswar, March 29 -- Amid a deepening fuel crisis triggered by ongoing instability in the Middle East, Pakistan is reportedly considering imposing a two-day weekly lockdown as part of emergency measures to conserve energy resources.
According to reports in local media, the proposed plan suggests a nationwide shutdown every Saturday and Sunday, with restrictions likely to be enforced from midnight on Saturday to Sunday midnight. The move, however, is yet to receive final approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
