Bhubaneswar, May 3 -- Vote counting for the Assam elections is set to take place on Monday. In the north-eastern state, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is optimistic about returning to power once again.

In an interview with OTV, state BJP president Dilip Saikia expressed strong confidence that the party will secure a hat-trick victory. He said that the BJP is 110 percent confident of forming the government again.

Saikia further claimed that the party will win more than 80 seats this time, and asserted that the NDA alliance will cross the three-digit mark in Assam.
