Bhubaneswar, Sept. 25 -- The five orangutans at Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar are currently healthy, as recent blood tests showed an improvement in their haemoglobin levels, informed the zoo authorities.

All five infants are eating normally and showing normal behaviour and activity, they added. A complete blood count (CBC) test was conducted on all five infants as part of their health assessment. The reports showed an improvement in the haemoglobin levels of infants M3 and F2. M3 was given injections to help improve its haemoglobin level.

The infants continue to remain under regular observation, with veterinarians and zoo staff monitoring their health and providing treatment as required.
