Bhubaneswar, Feb. 9 -- Brahmagiri MLA Upasna Mohapatra on Monday launched a scathing attack on the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), using 'three monkeys' analogy to criticise the party's current situation.
Referring to a series of resignations, suspensions and expulsions, Upasna said that leaders are leaving the BJD and joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) one after another. If this trend continues, she remarked, only 'three monkeys' would be left in the BJD - one party supremo, one leader from Tamil Nadu, and one coastal leader.
Targeting the BJD leadership, Upasna said the party is witnessing a phase of suspensions and disciplinary actions, while the BJP, on the other hand, is entering a phase of political consolidation through new entrants...
