Bhubaneswar, Sept. 22 -- A truck rammed into a car from behind while it was being repaired on the road in Jajpur late on Monday night. The accident left one elderly man dead and two others critically injured, including the truck driver.

The accident took place near Sathipur Pathapranta Chhak under Panikoili police station. The car was travelling from Bhadrak towards Bhubaneswar when it reportedly broke down on the way.

After the car developed a mechanical problem, the driver parked it on the road and began repairing the vehicle. A speeding truck approached from behind and rammed into the car, seriously injuring three people.
