Bhubaneswar, Feb. 13 -- A youth was allegedly abducted and assaulted in Odisha's Bhadrak after he protested against a group of individuals accused of passing comments near a college in Jagannathpur on Thursday.

The incident reportedly began near a college at Jagannathpur in Bhadrak, where some youths were said to be passing comments. Deepak Dakua objected to the alleged behaviour. Following his protest, the youths initially fled from the spot.

According to reports, the situation escalated later when 10 to 15 youths allegedly returned to Jagannathpur and forcibly took Deepak Dakua away in a car.
