Bhubaneswar, Aug. 26 -- Rain is likely to remain active across Odisha over the next seven days, with several districts expected to receive heavy rainfall. The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has issued a yellow warning for Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak for the next 24 hours.

The weather office has also forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in 21 districts of northern, western and coastal Odisha.

Rainfall is likely in northern and coastal Odisha on August 27 and 28. Several areas may receive rain during this period, while thunderstorms and lightning are also expected in some places.
