Bhubaneswar, Sept. 8 -- Rain is likely to intensify across Odisha over the next few days, with several districts expected to receive heavy rainfall. According to the MeT office, northern and coastal parts of the state may once again face difficult conditions due to rain

A yellow warning has been issued for 20 districts for today. Light to moderate rain, along with thunderstorms and lightning, may also occur in several parts of the state.

Rainfall activity is expected to increase from tomorrow, September 9. Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore in northern Odisha are likely to receive very heavy rainfall. A yellow alert has also been issued for 11 other districts.
