Bhubaneswar, June 12 -- In a move aimed at ensuring transparency in faculty appointments, the OdishaHigher Education department (HED) has sought the intervention of the Vigilance Department to monitor recruitment processes across 16 state universities.

The department has written to Vigilance authorities requesting close supervision of appointments to the posts of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. The initiative is intended to ensure that the recruitment process remains transparent, impartial and free from allegations of corruption or undue influence.
