Bhubaneswar, May 21 -- Corruption within government offices continues to remain a major concern in Odisha, with successive Vigilance raids across the State exposing huge amounts of alleged illegal wealth amassed by public servants. In a startling revelation, official sources on Thursday stated that Odisha Vigilance trapped or investigated as many as 48 engineers over the last 16 months.

From crores of unaccounted cash and luxury properties to gold ornaments, farmhouses, and hundreds of land plots, the scale of assets unearthed during recent anti-corruption operations has shocked both the public and investigating officials.
