Bhubaneswar, June 12 -- Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday announced that economically disadvantaged students in Odisha will be provided free education from KG to PG. The announcement was made during an event marking the completion of two years of the state government.

Addressing the gathering, the CM Majhi said the initiative is aimed at benefiting students from economically weaker sections and forms part of the government's efforts towards inclusive development and social welfare.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Majhi said that a "people's government" began two years ago and that the administration was working for the progress of the people of Odisha.
