Odisha to Kerala ganja trade in train: Six arrested from Olavakkode railway station
Bhubaneswar, Sept. 4 -- Six Odisha natives were arrested by Hemambika Nagar Police on Thursday after 53 kg of ganja was seized near Olavakkode railway station in Kerala.
According to a report by The Times Of India, the accused were allegedly carrying the contraband in bags after bringing it from Odisha by train. Police intercepted them while they were walking out of the railway station after finding their movements suspicious.
The accused have been identified as Jikhoria Digal, 22, Anilkumar Digal, 28, and Christal Digal, 45, from Kandhamal. The others are Purandar Khura, 34, Yudhishthi Bibhar, 28, and Labanya Khura, 25, from Rayagada district.
