Bhubaneswar, March 31 -- Odisha currently offers a total of 3,025 MBBS seats across its medical institutions, Health & Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling informed the Assembly. The state is now preparing to expand its medical education network with the establishment of four new government medical colleges.
Responding to a query from Mohana MLA Dasarathi Gamang, the Minister outlined the existing seat distribution, including 1,800 seats across 14 government medical colleges, 1,100 seats in six private institutions, and 125 seats at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
