Bhubaneswar, June 4 -- Amid concerns over possible illegal infiltration from Bangladesh, security measures along Odisha's coastline have been significantly strengthened, Director General of Police (DGP) Y.B. Khurania said on the occasion of the Coastal Security State-Level Seminar on Thursday.

Addressing the seminar, the DGP stated that coastal security agencies and marine police units are maintaining a high level of vigilance to prevent any form of illegal infiltration through the state's coastal areas. He emphasised that the security apparatus remains alert and proactive in safeguarding Odisha's maritime borders.
