Bhubaneswar, March 27 -- In response to emerging concerns over LPG supply disruptions linked to the ongoing West Asia crisis, the Odisha government is stepping up efforts to expand the City Gas Distribution (CGD) network across urban areas of the state.
Acting on directions from the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, the state has introduced a set of temporary measures aimed at fast-tracking the rollout of piped natural gas (PNG) connections. These provisions will remain in force until June 30.
