Bhubaneswar, Sept. 30 -- An 80-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in the Raighar police station area of Nabarangpur district in Odisha, sparking protests by a women's organisation demanding strict action against the accused.

According to the reports, the incident took place when the elderly woman was on her way to her daughter's house. A young man allegedly stopped her and dragged her into a nearby forested area. The woman reportedly raised an alarm, and her cries for help attracted the attention of people passing through the area.
