Bhubaneswar, April 10 -- The Odisha government has set a deadline of April 27 to complete the distribution of school uniforms to students across the state, even as a decision on school holidays remains pending.

School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond said a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has been issued to ensure smooth and timely implementation of the distribution process.

As per the schedule, class-wise uniform requirements will be finalised by April 10. The selection of agencies responsible for supplying uniforms will be completed by April 12, followed by issuance of work orders.
