The Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority (ORERA) has taken a significant step to streamline the resolution of disputes between homebuyers and promoters by establishing a Conciliation and Dispute Resolution (CDR) cell.

The move aims to provide a faster, cost-effective, and amicable alternative to formal court proceedings, enabling both parties to reach mutually acceptable solutions.

According to The New Indian Express, the CDR cell will operate as an alternative dispute resolution platform under the provisions of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
