Bhubaneswar, June 9 -- The Odisha government has reconstituted the Scheduled Caste Welfare Advisory Board with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi as its chairman. The new board has been constituted with 20 members, including MPs, MLAs, and representatives from different parts of the state.

The board serves as an advisory body to the government on matters related to the welfare, development, and implementation of schemes for Scheduled Caste communities in Odisha.

Among those included in the newly constituted board are Jagatsinghpur MP Bibhu Prasad Tarai and Jajpur MP Rabindra Narayan Behera.
