India, Oct. 9 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday conducted simultaneous raids at nine locations in connection with the Odisha Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment scam.

The searches were carried out at properties linked to accused persons, including Muna Mohanty, who is currently lodged in jail in connection with the alleged scam, at Kalapathar, as well as Shankar Prusty of Panch Soft and Suresh Nayak of Silicon Tech.

The raids come amid an ongoing investigation into alleged financial transactions worth crores of rupees linked to the recruitment scam. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the case, has filed chargesheets against several accused.
