Bhubaneswar, April 19 -- In a significant success for law enforcement, Sambalpur Police had recovered as many as 114 stolen and lost mobile phones and returned them to their rightful owners on Sunday. The electronic gadgets had either been stolen or lost at different times and subsequently recovered after complaints were lodged at multiple police stations in Sambalpur district.

According to the official sources, the recovery operation was carried out over a period of time through sustained tracking and investigation efforts. After successfully retrieving the phones, the police organised a special distribution programme at the district police headquarters in Sambalpur town.
