Bhubaneswar, Feb. 19 -- Odisha's per capita income has recorded a higher growth rate than the national average in 2025-26, reflecting an overall expansion in the state's economy during the year.

Official estimates indicate that the state's per capita income increased by 9.2 per cent to reach Rs 1,86,761.

During the same period, the all-India per capita income growth stood at 6.9 per cent, while Odisha registered a comparatively stronger growth rate of 9.2 per cent. The figures place the state above the national average in terms of income growth for the financial year 2025-26.
